Sacred Heart Conference.  Sacred Heart School of Theology will host a March 26, 2010 symposium on Karl Rahner featuring a lecture by Msgr. Patrick Burke entitled "Rahner: End or Beginning?"  Father Andreas Batlogg, SJ will offer a prepared response, and the discussion will be moderated by the seminary's Father Melvin Michalski.

Archives.  The Karl-Rahner-Archiv, München, under the direction of Pater Dr. Andreas R. Batlogg SJ, is dedicated to preserving Rahner's literary legacy.
- Father Thomas F. O'Meara, OP, the William K. Warren Professor of Theology Emeritus at the University of Notre Dame, will give this year's Rahner Lecture under the auspices of the KR Archiv.  Entitled "The American Rahner: The Influence of a German Theologian on US Catholicism," it will take place in Munich on April 23-24, 2010.
Texts.  Abstracts of Karl Rahner's Unserialized Essays, by Daniel Pekarske, SDS.  Marquette Studies in Theology, no. 60.  This new volume includes abstracts of essays published in English (apart from the Theological Investigations and Rahner's dictionary and encyclopedia articles).  The new volume follows Pekarske's Abstracts of Rahner’s Theological Investigations.

Rahner's Spirit in the World & Hearer of the Word are now available on computer disks for $10 from Marquette University Press. Follow this link to the MU Press page for further information.

 

Theological Investigations.  The complete text of Rahner’s 23-volume Theological Investigations is now available in PDF format, published to mark Rahner’s centenary in 2004.  The publisher is Mary Immaculate College in Limerick, Ireland, and you can purchase it for £60.00 at "The Way -- Ignatian Book Service" in Oxford, England.

 

 
 

Paraphrase.  Dr. Mark F. Fischer at St. John's Seminary in Camarillo, CA has written a paraphrase of Rahner's Foundations of Christian Faith.  His web site also includes an index to the book and materials for teaching Rahner's theology.

Rahner Database.  Dr. Kern Trembath has created a searchable index in English of the titles of Rahner's books and articles.
