Father Thomas F. O'Meara, OP, the William K. Warren Professor of Theology
Emeritus at the University of Notre Dame, will give give this year's
Rahner
Lecture under the auspices of the KR Archiv. Entitled "The
American Rahner: The Influence of a German Theologian on US Catholicism,"
the lecture will take place on Friday, May 13, 2011. |

23-volume Theological Investigations is now available in PDF format,
published to mark Rahner’s centenary in 2004. The publisher is Mary
Immaculate College in Limerick, Ireland, and you can purchase it for

Paraphrase.
Dr. Mark F. Fischer at St. John's Seminary in
Camarillo, CA has written a paraphrase of Rahner's
Foundations of Christian Faith. His web site also includes an
index to the book and materials for teaching Rahner's theology. |

Sermons, Prayers, and
Essays. Dr.
Annemarie S. Kidder has just published a collection of Rahner's sermons,
prayers, and essays that she translated and edited. The Mystical
Way in Everyday Life,
published by Orbis Press, has a Foreword by Karl Cardinal Lehmann, as well as
an introduction by Kidder herself. Kidder is also the author of
Making Confession, Hearing Confession: A History of the Cure of Souls,
which has a chapter on Karl Rahner
(Collegeville: Liturgical Press, 2010). |
